A digital library of modern international history, the Churchill Archives includes more than 800,000 pages of original documents, produced between 1874 and 1965, ranging from Winston S. The Day was launched in January 2011 in the UK as a daily online newspaper for teenagers focusing on the big issues that are transforming the world. The purpose is to help students think for themselves and connect with the wider world by reading and talking about current affairs.
The Day Explorer is designed to give young people in the primary age range an introduction to the wider world by nurturing their natural sense of curiosity and wonder; and to encourage them to continue to ask questions and to start on the road to being critical thinkers and true global citizens.
