Teachers Read: Home

Reading suggestions from and for the teachers/staff/administration of UNIS Hanoi.

Book-a-day Challenge

"If we believe that reading over the summer is important for children, how can we revitalize our own reading lives over the summer? Beyond our responsibility as a reading role model for the young readers in our lives, we need a boost, too."

-- Donalyn Miller (author of The Book Whisperer)

Who Is Reading?

What Are You Reading?

In response to a recent survey, teachers and staff have revealed their recent reads. When do they find time, among all the exams, essays and reports? For many people in the UNIS Hanoi community, reading is a priority. Aside from it being an enjoyable activity, scientific studies show the many benefits of reading every day, including, among others, less stress, healthier lifestyle in general, and greater empathy.
