Mission Statement: "Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation"
1. Rethinking future mobility includes optimizing the use of all modes of transport, including trains. The European Commission's 'Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy' aims to achieve a 90% cut in transport emissions by 2050, supported by a smart, competitive, safe, accessible and affordable transport system
2. India: Despite being one of the fastest-growing economies, a significant portion of its rural population still lacks reliable access to all-season roads, which is crucial for economic activities and connectivity.
3. Sub-Saharan Africa: Basic infrastructure such as roads, sanitation, and electricity remains insufficient. Approximately 800 million people lack access to clean water, and 2.3 billion lack basic sanitation services
1. Create a hotspot map. There are a lot of public spaces with free WiFi access. By mapping them out in your neighborhood and spreading awareness through social media, flyers or announcements you can help more people access the internet.
2. Find out and understand how different technologies work and their impact on society and the environment.
3. Work with friends to come up with innovative solutions to local problems, like waste management or energy use.
